Our Projects

We are all about projects and we complete them for residential clients and commercial clients. We undertake a wide variety of projects throughout the year, ranging from small-scale residential roofing repairs to large-scale commercial roofing installations. Here are some examples of our recent projects:

Carols

This property situated on Worthing seafront had suffered major wind damage. The rear flint wall over 5 floors had nearly fallen down and the wall had been shored up for nearly 18 months.

The whole property was propped from basement to the roof using nearly 60 props and the entire wall was demolished leaving the original lathe and plaster inner walls in place.

After consultation with the conservation officer it was agreed that the wall would be rebuilt with flints removed during demolition but unfortunately these had to be painted back into keeping with the surroundings.

Whilst the wall was being rebuilt one complete sash window was replaced and every other remaining complete box sash window was completely overhauled and put back into place square and true as they had become slanted after years of structural settlement.

The exterior was then redecorated and extra restraint straps were installed on the new inner walls.

Due to works carried out by others and age the chimney breast within the building had become completely detached from the main building itself.

This was propped and then removed and rebuilt , a backing board was installed before the finished wall covering was applied to assist in making it easier for the new tv bracket to be installed.

We have since returned to the property and carried out extensive refurbishments to the basement and returned the front basement area to its former glory after it had been infilled.

It was a satisfying job to have completed and our customers are still very proud of their property.

Chanctonfold

We turned a small kitchen, meeting room and bathroom in to a larger, more functional area for our client's increased staff levels.

The kitchen was moved to the old meeting room and all new units were installed.

From brand new plans we formed new disabled, male and female toilets in the remaining space.

This involved all new electrics and plumbing, carpentry, sound-proofing, flooring and decorating.

Working closely with their surveyor we are very proud of the final results and so is our client.

Seaford College

This building was once a busy stable yard and is now a music block within a local college.

The old tiles were removed and insulation was installed after some extensive timber replacement and rot treatment.

Every dormer was recovered in new lead  and the building was re-tiled with a heritage tile.

The entrance canopy had suffered timber rot and the lead covering had perished.

Also at the same college the cricket pavilion roof was in need of resurfacing and while we were there we constructed from scratch a brand new clock house, as you can see from the photographs the old one was a little tired.

Pacific Court

Refurbishment to the exterior of 50 flats.

Larger outlets were installed.

Walls were rendered and some required structural work.

Balcony floors were screeded and new flat roofing membranes applied.

Railings were treated and decorated.

Decoration to entire exterior.
